Preschool Instructor
Yoga RYT 200 Instructor at Sanctuary since September, 2017. From Albuquerque, NM. I hold a Biochemistry degree from New Mexico State University. During my undergraduate years, I started practicing yoga regularly to improve my flexibility and mental strength. When I am not in the studio, you can find me in the Food Science building at WSU working on my PhD in Wine Science, or behind my turntables as I DJ under the name "DJ Grape Vinyl."
In May of 2016 I became a 200RYT in the Power/Vinyasa yoga tradition and have since immersed myself in various other trainings and workshops. My mission as a Yoga Teacher is to provide my students with a non-dogmatic yoga experience focused on taking charge of their physical, mental and spiritual well-being, without apology. I strive to provide a quality yoga practice that is based on wisdom, not vanity, and promotes self-reflection, growth, healing and transformation from within.
Yoga RYT 200 Sheila instructs in Hot VInyasa and Hot Power. You will also find them working in the front desk and around the studio.
Adam’s yoga journey began in 2018, to reduce stress and return to daily activity overcoming injury. In 2020 he completed his RYT200. Adam’s current approach focuses a balanced active lifestyle practice for all levels of practitioners. As an ultra-marathon distance runner with ongoing daily runs, Adam’s yoga practice specifically embodies intention towards strength, endurance, and active recovery.
